LIO RUSH ANNOUNCES RETIREMENT FROM WRESTLING (Again- rolls eyes)

In his Instagram post, Rush stated that he suffered a separated AC joint in his shoulder at AEW's Double or Nothing.  He stated that AEW still wanted to sign him, which would have made him the first talent signed to two major companies at the same time as he had already signed with New Japan in April.  The injury made him re-evaluate where he is in life, especially as it was keeping him from holding his youngest child.  He stated that led him to decide he was done, with the exception of whatever contracted matches he has left for New Japan Pro Wrestling.

This isn't the first time he's "retired". He did this back in July of 202 and suddenly "Unretired" himself before the end of 2020 (Kind of like Jazz "retired" for two weeks, then showed up in Impact Wrestling.

So when Lio AGAIN "Unretires" himself and returns to wrestling. Just remember, I told you so. because I will, indeed be doing just that knowing I'm right about this.
