DREW MCINTYRE TO BE INDUCTED INTO ICW HALL OF FAME THIS MONTH

Scotland’s Insane Championship Wrestling announced today that they were inducting former WWE NXT and Impact Wrestling champion Drew “McIntyre” Galloway, 32 years old, into their Hall of Fame on 2/12.   Galloway will be in Glasgow, Scotland at the O2 ABC to accept the induction at the ICW event.

Galloway was a regular for the promotion when the Scottish independent wrestling scene was in its infancy before heading to the United States for WWE.  After his WWE departure, Galloway returned and was a regular top star for the company during the insane period he was crossing the globe and working everywhere he could in the post-3MB era of his career.

During his time with ICW, he was two-time ICW champion. During his run with the company from 2014-2017, the promotion blew up into a massively popular international success, drawing excellent crowds with a very adult-tinged product.  Galloway took their belt and defended it in a number of countries, including The United States and Australia.

Galloway is currently rehabbing an arm injury suffered in his loss of the WWE NXT title to Andrade “Cien” Almas at the WWE NXT Takeover: Wargames event and is expected back in action this Spring.
