WWE star David Otunga and his fiancee, Academy Award winning actor and
singer Jennifer Hudson have split up after ten years, according to a plethora of
media reports that came out overnight after the story was initially broken by TMZ.com.
According to the reports, the couple are in the middle of a custody battle over their son, with Hudson filing for an order of protection against the former member of the Nexus. That led to Chicago Police requiring Otunga to leave their home.
The major issue of contention is the primary residence of their son, which Otunga (who had been at home raising him, according to legal filings in the case) had requested be with him. Otunga's attorneys claim that Hudson filed for the the order to attempt to bolster her claim that their son should live with her.
