NWA Reportedly Signs TV Deal With The CW Network
The NWA is reportedly headed to The CW Network.
Billy Corgan teased last week during an appearance on Busted Open Radio that his promotion had recently signed with a "Top 20 network." both TV deal is with The CW, and an official announcement is coming relatively soon. It is believed one of the two deals is for the rights to NWA Power and the other is for a reality TV series based on what happens behind the scenes in the promotion.
In late August, the NWA announced it had made several production upgrades and declared it was entering a "new era." The production upgrades were reportedly made in anticipation of the company's new television deals.
Corgan's company also announced last week the return of its old territory system. EC3's Exodus Pro Wrestling promotion was revealed as the first new affiliate in the system and will now be known as NWA Exodus Pro Midwest. It's been speculated that the new territories could be featured on the NWA's YouTube channel in the future.

With their WWE contracts expiring, The Grizzled Young Veterans (Zack Gibson & James Drake) uploaded a promo on Saturday declaring that they are back. Gibson & Drake also announced that they're now available for bookings. They called it a "global takeover" and noted that they will be based out of the United States.
Gibson & Drake requested their release from WWE this April, but the request was not granted. They had their final match for NXT this August.

MUNCIE, Ind. — A professional wrestler who goes by the name of “Kreepy the Clown” was arrested for battering a 34-year-old autistic man after a brawl broke out in the Delaware County Fairgrounds parking lot following a wrestling show in August.
Court documents reveal that Michael R. Keihn, 42, of Muncie was arrested on Tuesday and booked into the Delaware County Jail under a preliminary charge of battery of an endangered adult, a Level 5 felony.
Keihn, who wrestles under the facepaint and moniker of “Kreepy the Clown,” is accused of assaulting a 34-year-old autistic man in the parking lot of the Delaware County Fairgrounds on the night of Aug. 12.
