Video Of CHELSEA GREEN Crashing The Women's Bracket Reveal At Best in The World!
The Women's Championship Tournament brackets were revealed at Best in the World, and so was a new contender who promised to have her eyes on each and every match - CHELSEA GREEN!
EC3 Explains The Reason He Returned To Impact Before Signing With ROH
Ring of Honor star EC3 sat down with Wrestling Epicenter to promote ROH’s PPV Best in the World. EC3 is scheduled to wrestle Flip Gordon on the show tonight and he discussed what got him excited about this upcoming match.
“I’m intrigued by what would happen between Flip and me as we built to this match,” EC3 said. “We have not had that many altercations. There’s a lot of story to tell. There’s a lot of differences in similarities which humanizes people that I think could be exploited for some in depth storytelling. We’ve had minimal reactions, interactions on television. But seeing as we tagged and he notably cheated in a match at the 19th Anniversary Show I found out an answer to a question I’ve had, ‘is Honor real?’ When I wrestled Jay Briscoe I did find out that Honor truly is real in professional wrestling. It is not the dilapidated degrading industry that I thought it was. Honor still exist and to be honorable is to not cheat.
“So Flip, I like what he’s done with himself. I like he’s taking away the things like the actual flips, and things of that nature with people that would clap for him aimlessly. We have no context of substance and he’s adding in that substance. So a talent like that is compelling and I’m interested in not only competing with, but showing them the way. Showing them to take back control. Fight for freedom, find their purpose. As far as that though, I respect him and I’ve been watching him for a very long time. At Best in the World I prove that and to be the best in the world, you have to win.”
EC3 joined Ring of Honor in October of 2020 and would sign with them earlier this year, nearly a year after his release from WWE. He confirmed that he did receive offers from other companies, but that ROH was ultimately the right fit for him.
“Yes, the phone rang elsewhere,” EC3 said. “But Ring of Honor is something I’ve never done. And it’s a storied brand and a legacy that is reinventing itself. It’s finding its own new purpose. It’s something that I want to help build and create. I don’t want to go somewhere where I’m just an interchangeable part. I want to go somewhere, create something, build something, make something special happen based on the hard work I can put in.”
Before that EC3 did return to Impact Wrestling briefly, reuniting with the company that gave him his first major push years ago. Today EC3 states that wasn’t so much about him but about helping out someone he considers a major talent.
“That was not about me. It was about Moose,” EC3 revealed. “Because Moose has a talent and what the Essential Character sees is talents who don’t truly show who they are. I wanted to bring that out of him. That was my sole reason for returning to Impact. That and also to end Ethan Carter the Third once and for all as that name serves me no more.”
Finally EC3 was asked what his ultimate goal is in ROH and who he would like to face. His answer should come as a surprise to no one.
“Whoever is the World Heavyweight Champion,” EC3 said. “If it is Rush, it’s Rush. I guess we will find out this Sunday at Beast in the World on FITE TV and pay per view!”

CHELSEA GREEN MAKES ROH DEBUT
During tonight's Ring of Honor Best in the World PPV, former WWE and Impact Wrestling star Chelsea Green debuted, announced as competing in the Women's World tournament. Green will face Mandy Leon in the first round of the tournament.
Green cut a promo and said she was coming for every single thing she was told she couldn't have and needed to prove to every fan and to herself that she's good enough to be the best. She came to ROH to wrestle, broken arm and all but the Maryland Athletic Commission wouldn't let her wrestle tonight. She said that she's going to sit ringside and study every woman until she's cleared and allowed to wrestle and then prove she should be in the best Women's Division.
Green said her cast is a reminder that she is unstoppable. She said in one month, when the cast is off, she's going to take the ROH Women's division to the forefront of wrestling.
At least Ring Of Honor will use her way better than WWE did. WWE, as usual, dropped the ball which is one thing they're consistent at.

Message To Dolph Ziggler- WWE May Not Sell Any Of Your Merchandise, But eBay Sure Does
In response to a tweet by Dolph Ziggler, an individual on social media said they have “never seen one single person ever wear Dolph Ziggler merchandise.”
“To be fair, WWE doesn’t sell any [shrugging emojis],” Ziggler wrote back. A quick search of WWE Shop would indeed find that no current Ziggler merchandise is for sale to fans. The only item is a youth sized “Should Be Me” shirt from 2019. During that time, Ziggler often used “it should’ve been me” in his promos.
BUT... What happens when one does a quick search on eBay? HHMM?
What happens is you find over SIX PAGES of Dolf Ziggler shirts for sale, not to mention the many pages featuring a Ziggler figure.

Cornette, Jericho And Others Put Fan Who Rushed The Ring On AEW's Road Rager In His Place (The Fan Got "Treated")
The fan who rushed the ring during Wednesday’s Road Rager edition of AEW Dynamite on TNT noted that he ended up going to jail after the incident at the James L. Knight Center in Miami on Wednesday night. For those who missed it, the fan rushed the ring during Chris Jericho’s entrance for his face-off with MJF, as fans were singing Jericho’s “Judas” theme song. MJF and Jericho both stood up as staffers and security wrestled the man from the apron and ramp area, to the floor. Jericho then walked over and briefly got physical with the man.
I covered this idiot getting punched by Jericho, here. https://billsbrandnewblog.blogspot.com/2021/07/fan-tries-to-enter-ring-on-aew-but-gets.html
Regarding security, It should be noted that Atlas Security was not working the show and have not been working with AEW during the COVID-19 pandemic. Atlas was known for stopping unruly fans during the Original ECW days, and at times in TNA/Impact Wrestling.
The fan, who goes by Fat Bastard on Twitter, responded to a Vince Russo tweet on June 23, where Russo taunted Tony Khan for losing half of AEW’s audience. The tweet threatened Khan, Cody Rhodes, and Anthony Ogogo.
After getting back online this week, the fan has changed his Twitter bio to taunt Jericho and MJF. The fan went viral this afternoon following a tweet he sent to Jim Cornette and Cornette’s podcast co-host, Brian Last. He thought Cornette would side with him as Cornette often rips on AEW. He was wrong.
“@TheJimCornette @GreatBrianLast, how did you like my #AEW debut? I did this for all of us real wrestling fans, wrestling is no longer a safe space for friends to dance around and play dress up. Reality can hit at anytime, did they think it is going to be fucking playtime forever?,” he wrote to Cornette.
Cornette responded and said the man is lucky he wasn’t gutted “like a fish” and commented on how the ring is sacred ground for those in the business. He then blocked the man.
“Got news for you dipshit, the ring is sacred ground for US, and even if you and a lot of others THINK you can kick the s--t out of the Young Bucks, I would have turned you into a tennis racket popsicle, & you’re lucky someone there didn’t gut you like a fish. And you’re blocked,” Cornette wrote back.
Last also responded and said the man should be embarrassed. He then also blocked the man.
“Real wrestling fans don’t jump the rail. You should be embarrassed. You are blocked,” Last wrote.
You want to watch the video in the tweet right above, here's the link. https://twitter.com/i/status/1413653946992898050
"Marks", you gotta love em, they do get dumber and dumber by the week. This one says Jerichop pun ches like a bitch, but yet we didn't see him punch Jericho back, now did we, LMAO!
Nope, his punk ass was dragged off and he looked like he didn't know what hit him.
Someone better give him back his medication, so that way he can take it and smarten up.
Since Dave Meltzer Can't Supply A Link To This Story, I'll Go Ahead (Again) And Do it For Him
I don't how Dave Meltzer could do a story and not supply a link to it, especially when I, happened to find the link by accident and did the story BEFORE he did it.
But that's Meltzer for you.
Here's a shot of HIS story on Mike and Maria Bennet throwing out the first pitch at Wrigley Field.
And now, here's a shot of the story I did, two hours before he did his "Daily Update".
It couldn't have been THAT HARD for him to actually DO some research and find a link, could it?
One simple search for it on Google brings it up, see? Right here is proof.
I guess Meltzer has difficulty using Google, LOL.
So since he's again, incapable of producing a link unless someone hands it to him (and possibly puts it in the update for him since he's well known for not being able to even do THAT, correctly), Here you go. I'll do what he can't seem to do (or is too lazy to do, or simply too lazy to WANT to do it, you choose which one it is).
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UVg0rTW3rjE
I'm sure the "Meltzer Marks" are gonna come whining at me again as they usually do when I show they're 'hero' is an idiot. But it's the principle, if you're gonna do a story and a link is available, provide the link. How hard is it for the ahem, "world's most well known wrestling writer" to come up with one? Better yet, why is it he can't come up with one but a "little guy" like me has it, and had it two hours BEFORE he did?
Makes you go, HHHHMMM.
As for me giving you the link Meltzer failed to do? You're welcome. :)

Tommy Rich vs. Larry Zbyszko/Promos: Tommy Rich, Dick Murdoch. WCW, April 1983
After paying Killer Brooks $25,000 for the belt, freshly, illegitimately minted National Heavyweight Champion Larry Zbyszko (he would be stripped of the belt by the end of the month) grants Tommy "Wildfire" Rich a title defense on television, but only a ten minute time limit. Zybyszko aggravates Rich by doing things to run out the clock. After the match, Tommy Rich, joined by Tony Atlas, has some special words with Gordon Solie. Dick Murdoch speaks briefly about his upcoming tag match with Dusty Rhodes against Koloff and The Iron Sheik. WCW, April 1983.
Josh Barnett On The Young Bucks- "I Was Constantly Covering” For Them On NJPW Commentary (UUHH OOHHH)
On the latest episode of Pro Wrestling 4 Life, two-time WWE Hall of Famer Sean “X-Pac” Waltman sat down with former Pancrase Openweight Champion Josh Barnett. Barnett is still active in the combat sports world as a fighter for Bellator and the promoter of Bloodsport.
Barnett previously served as color commentator for New Japan Pro Wrestling on AXS TV. Pro Wrestling 4 Life co-host and Wrestling Inc. Managing Editor Nick Hausman asked Barnett about the noticeable friction that he had with the Young Bucks.
“I don’t know what their deal is. I don’t know who riled them up into thinking that me and JR (Jim Ross) were burying them all the time because we weren’t,” Barnett noted. “One of the things that I think was a problem is they wanted to be cool, but I’m like, you’re heels. You’re constantly cheating, and breaking the rules and doing heel stuff, so we’re gonna say you’re despicable.
“We’re gonna say you’re terrible and horrible and you’re bad people. We didn’t say that you sucked. We just said that you’re bad guys because that was your job. Your job was to be bad guys, but it seems like no one wants to be an actual heel anymore. Everyone wants to be the cool anti-hero or cool bad guy. They want to sell all their merch. No, I’m sorry, if you’re a heel, be a heel.
“Stop trying to worry about whether the fans like you or not. You have a role to fill here, and if you want to run around telling people to ‘suck it’, then people should want to see you get your your teeth kicked in. That’s just the way it is, and nobody wants to be a heel and that’s a problem. And somebody riled up The Bucks. I don’t know how, whatever. They used to get into Twitter fights constantly anyways.”
Barnett continued as he spoke more on what his goal was on NJPW commentary.
“I’ve never actually had a discussion with them, and yet, I would constantly cover for them in their matches,” Barnett stated. “They go to hit their Meltzer Driver. They do all this crazy stuff that just gets them a two count. My thoughts are, ‘well, I don’t want this to seem like it was s**t,’ or it’s weak or it’s just a hope spot or it’s just getting their s**t in. I don’t want people to view that. I want to say, ‘well, okay, you can see that Matt, when he came off the ropes, he didn’t get the feet all the way on the help on that piledriver.’
“I don’t want to belittle what they’re doing. I want them to feel like, okay, if they had hit it perfectly, that match is over, but they’re tired. It’s tough. People are sweaty. Things are happening. This dude’s in air flipping to give the assisted tombstone. Okay, a lot of things can happen, can miss, and you get guys that always got to knock a dude out the ring. They always got to flip over it. Okay, fine, regardless if this has happened in every match leading up to this, but whatever, I’m not agenting things."

THIS? Is Going To Be On Impact Tonight? What A Great Example Of Why Fans Crap All Over Them
Impact Wrestling, even WITH the departure of Don Callis as booker (a role he should've never been hired to do in the first place) has been one of the most sloppy, barely watchable shows every week. Which along with AEW and WWE they're in fine company for TV shows that truly suck..
And if you need a reason to not watch it? This right here would be a great example.
Brian Myers vs. Jake Something is slated to open up tonight's episode of Impact Wrestling on AXS TV. The stipulation for the match is that the winner will have to admit the other is a true professional wrestler.
So.. If the winner has to admit to the loser that HE's a true professional wrestler, what kind of a fucking stipulation is that? Shouldn't it be that the LOSER has to tell the WINNER that? DDDUUHH!!
THIS, is the 'best' the booking geniuses at Impact can scrape up. And THIS is a very example of why fans shit and crap all over Impact Wrestling.
Remember this is the very same company that thought, having titles that looked like THIS, was a 'brilliant idea'.
Needless to say, I won't be running to my tv to watdch THIS MATCH, LOL!
So thank you again Scotty D'Amore, Tommy Dreamer and the others on the 'current' (for this week maybe?) booking committee for giving me and other yet another reason, to avoid wartdching your product.
And here i thought the 'silliness' that has plagued Impact for years was gonna b e rid of when Callis was hired. Funny how the silliness only increased and even with Callis not booking and writing Impact shows, the show for the most part? Still sucks.
Makes you go, HHMM.

Comments from Supreme wrestlers after this past Saturday's event.
Fan Tries To Enter The Ring On AEW, But Gets Punched By Chris Jericho
Why do fans do that? I've seen fans try that shit going back to seeing wrestling shows live growing up in Chicago. And EVERY TIME? They always get their ass kicked for trying it. They get a few beers in em, then think they're gonna get themselves over by getting in the ring but instead?
They ALWAYS, got their asses kicked. The only exception to that was when Charlie Haas got dropped by a fan with one punch acouple weeks back at a show in Texas. (But Haas was outside the ring when that happened and he had pushed another fan, before being dropped with one punch by a second fan).
I remember a WWA New England show in Salem, Massachusetts back in 1998 a fan tried to get into the ring when Christian and Sean Stasiak (they were a tag team that night) were in the ring and Christian stomped on the guy's head before he even made it under the bottom rope. Both Sean and Christian ended that guy's story before it could even get started.
So in the latest example of why dumb drunken "marks" shouldn't try to enter the ring during a show a fan tried it on last night's AEW and got punched by Chris Jericho.
Imagine how many people are now laughing at that jack ass right about now.
Here's links to various views of the incident from last night

THE FORMER ALEISTER BLACK DEBUTS IN AEW, HERE'S HOW HE WAS ABLE TO DO THAT SO SOON
Tommy End, aka the former Aleister Black, just debuted on AEW Dynamite, attacking Arn Anderson and Cody Rhodes. He was identified as Tommy End, but then referred to as Malaki Black, the personality he debuted earlier today on social media. Black was released by WWE on 6/2, just weeks after the promotion spent weeks building his return to storyline via vignettes and an angle where he attacked Smackdown star Big E.
For those who were wondering how the former Aleister Black could debut tonight for AEW just a little over a month after he received his WWE release, we have the answer. And you can thank WWE since it was THEIR OWN FUCK UP, that caused this to be able to happen.
So much for how WWEW likes to 'micromanage' everything. Looks like they didn't 'micromanage' the contract too well.
Back when Tommy End was moved to the main WWE roster several years ago, the company failed to update his contract from the standard 30 day non-compete that NXT level talents receive to the 90 day non-compete that main roster performers are given. So, what can only be described as a bad clerical error allowed End to be free and clear in time for the first episode of AEW Dynamite on the road and surprise everyone. The natural question is going to be whether other talents also had the same error, allowing them to appear ahead of the traditional 90 day non-compete elsewhere. Obviously, there's no way to know unless they opt to make that publicly known before they pop up elsewhere.
Meanwhile, AEW announced the first official t-shirt for End, now christened Malaki Black
See his debut here. https://twitter.com/i/status/1412944130813083650

Greg Valentine - Why My Four Horsemen Deal Fell Through in WCW
Back in 1988, WCW Wrestling offered the Hammer a contract to join the Four Horsemen. Jim Ross made the call and a meeting was held with Jim Crockett and JJ Dillon. Plans were to turn Barry Windham a babyface, inserting Valentine into the group. In WWF, Greg was fed up with his New Dream Team pairing with Dino Bravo. After Vince McMahon asked him to do the job (lose) for the Killer Bees (B. Brian Blair, Jumping Jim Brunzell) at Madison Square Garden, Valentine hopped a plane and quit the WWF. Interestingly enough, Hulk Hogan happened to be on the same flight. By the time they landed, Vince already caught word about Valentine's offer. If it wasn't for a lengthy phone call (including promises for a WWF return), Greg turned down the WCW offer.
Jimmy Uso Has Been Arrested For DUI, Again
TMZ.com reported this morning that WWE star Jonathan "Jimmy Uso" Fatu was arrested and charged with DUI. Uso was pulled over last night at 10:35 PM EST in Pensacole, Florida after being caught going 50 mph in a 35 mph zone. He was found to have a blood alcohol content of .205, according to TMZ.
Fatu has already bonded out of Escambia County Corrections in Florida.
This would be the third known arrest for Fatu over the last several years.
In July 2019, Fatu was also arrested Pensacola, Florida and charged with DUI after he was pulled over at 3:04 AM after authorities observed him "driving erratically" and "swerving left and right." The police report at the time claimed that Uso "reeked" of alcohol and refused to undergo testing at the scene to test him for intoxication.
In February 2019, Uso was arrested in Detroit, Michigan after authorities pulled over the car his wife Naomi was driving as she was driving the wrong way on a one way street. In that incident, Uso got out of the car, despite being told not to do so and took off his jacket and acted as if he wanted to fight. He eventually calmed down and listened to the police officers who stopped the car. Uso was arrested for disorderly conduct and obstruction of justice at the time. He plead no contest and ended up paying a fine.
WWE has yet to comment.
