Update On Fan incident Involving Bully Ray At ROH Show

Josh Ketch, who was escorted backstage by head of ring crew Brian Johnson for a lecture from Bully Ray at State of the Art in Portland, Oregon on June 2 after a confrontation with The Allure (Mandy Leon, Velvet Sky, and Angelina Love), tweeted that he had a one hour conference call with a Sinclair HR representative and ROH COO Joe Koff on June 22. Ketch claimed that he had words with Sky and Leon. He claimed that Leon spit on him and pie-faced him at ringside.
Since the incident, several wrestlers have come out and publicly supported Ketch including Colt Cabana and The Young Bucks. Kevin Owens left Ketch front row tickets for Smackdown this past week.
You can see his tweet below:
Sinclair showed concern about the incident. ROH had initially said their investigation would only last 48 hours, but it has now extended to nearly a month of investigation. ROH has yet to comment since they issued a press release saying the investigation would extend beyond the initial 48 hour period they had set.
ROH never released any statement on the investigation they were going to conduct based on Taeler Hendrix’s claims against Jay Lethal last year that he sabotaged her career because she wouldn’t sleep with him. Hopefully the company issues a statement about their findings on the conduct of Bully Ray and The Allure with Ketch at State of the Art in the near future.

Christopher Daniels Talks AEW Competing With WWE, Locker Room Morale

Wrestling veteran and current AEW star Christopher Daniels talked to CBS Local Sports Miamiabout the overwhelming positive response surrounding All Elite Wrestling. Daniels believed the pro-wrestling fan base is rooting for AEW to flourish as the promotion continues to progress.
"I feel like I've been very fortunate to be in locker rooms where there's been a lot of positive feeling toward the company we're working for," Daniels said. "When we started with Ring of Honor, when we started with TNA, there was a very similar mindset that we were building something, that we were doing something good. But just the amount of positive, goodwill that there is in this company for this company and from the wrestling fan base, it's just off the charts. We've sort of got the professional wrestling fan base on our side and they want to see us succeed and do well. And we're all very lucky to be in that situation where we're part of a hot brand before the brand is even six months old."
The forty nine year old SoCal Uncensored member understands that being a seasoned wrestler comes with its physical strains. Despite his age and pain, Daniels said his desire to perform at an elite level remains strong especially considering that AEW is still in its infancy.
"Every day I wake up, and I think about the wear and tear on my body, and will I be able to continue to perform at a high level," Daniels admitted. "Sometimes I'm working with guys that are fifteen years younger than me, twenty years younger than me. But the positive to that is that I always feel like the experience that I have is going to carry me through any aches and pains that I might have. And yeah, I'm always cognizant of where I'm at in my career.
"But I also want to continue, especially now with us being in the early phases of this company," Daniels continued. "I want to help build and make something great. I don't want to do that just with my mind, I want to go out there and put on matches that people are going to remember, you know, five, ten years down the line. So yeah, I'm of the mindset now that I'm going to keep going until I can't. And this is the best place for me to do it, I feel."
As most people following the production of AEW look at the promotion as a competitor to mega-power WWE, Daniels himself feels that AEW contains the right combination of stars and momentum to be a solid source of pro-wrestling. Daniels also did not underestimate the effort, energy, and time it takes to create a legitimate quality product.
"It's going to take time to grow to any sort of thing," Daniels said. "I feel like we've got all the tools and now just depends on us going out and putting on the best product that we can. We've got the right athletes to build a good product that's worth investing in. Some people want to see an actual competitor to WWE. Time will tell if we'll get to that position or not, but I feel like we've got the right ingredients for that. It's up to us to capitalize on that good will [from fans] and build off of that to the point where we've got a loyal fan base watching us week after week."

Scotty 2 Hotty On WWE PC Coaching Job,

WWE Superstar Scotty 2 Hotty was a guest on E&C's Pod Of Awesomeness. Among many other things, Scotty talked about his new role as a coach at the WWE Performance Center. Scotty put over a few of his students. Additionally, Scotty compared being a WWE PC trainer to being a parent, seeing your kids go off to college.
Scotty, who used to be a guest trainer at the WWE Performance Center, shared that his job as WWE PC coach is the best job in the world. Scotty went on to say that he is so proud of his former students, Lacey Evans and Elias.
"I have the best job on the planet," Scotty gushed. "It is the coolest just seeing some of these guys and girls, some of them are going from ground zero and go up to the main event. I mean, Lacey Evans, I'm so proud of her. To see her go, and do her thing, and to work with her, like I said, I worked with her at ground level and to teach her stuff and to see her working with Becky [Lynch], it's so cool. Or Elias. I remember working with Elias at some of the Florida shows I front of 200 or 300 people. And to say, 'hey, let's try this differently,' or 'do this with the guitar,' or 'do this' or 'don't do this,' and then, for him to get called up and see him become what he [has] become, it's so cool. And still to this day, every once in a while, I'll get a text from him and it'll be him in South America in front of 10,000 people and they are all singing with him. It's so cool. In a way, it's better than wrestling."
Later in the interview, Scotty put over Velveteen Dream as something of a generational talent. Scotty indicated that Dream is a student of the game and that you can see greats like 'Macho Man' Savage and Rick Rude in his work.
"He gets it," Scotty said. "He [has] got everything. Like, he's only 22 or 23 years old or something like that. He gets it. He's a fan. You can see it in his work. You see Savage in there. You see Rude in there. He loves wrestling. He'll be in there pretty much every day doing something or trying someone or working with some of the new guys. He doesn't have to be there everyday, but he just comes in and works. He's a guy who just gets it."
Scotty claimed that his students are like his kids and seeing them called up to RAW and SmackDown is like seeing his kids going off to college.
"To see these guys, they become like your kids, really." Scotty added, "I see them every day at the PC. Everyday, and then, I'll do at least one show on the weekend around Florida with them. And then three or four-day travel loops around the country or around the world or wherever. And then, one day, all of a sudden, they get called up and they go off to college. They go off to RAW or SmackDown and then, you don't see them anymore. It's awesome, but it's also sad."

Something That I Enjoyed Reading- New Albany, Indiana: Wrestling in My Hometown

WWE Micromanages Every Little Thing, BUT.. This Stupid Shit Happens (LMAO!)

Paul Heyman was being advertised to appear at Monday's WWE RAW from Dallas, Texas at the American Airlines Center.
Eric Bischoff is also being advertised to appear on WWE TV next week, at the WWE SmackDown episode from the AT&T Center in San Antonio, Texas.
The ads for Bischoff include the same line for Heyman's appearance, wondering what they will have in store for the brands. It was interesting that both are being advertised for TV next week because original reports on Thursday stated that these new roles would not be a part of any TV storyline, at least at first.
It wasn't supposed to be released like that and Bischoff was not even scheduled for the show.  The idea is to push the idea that it's all new to boost ratings after the last few weeks.  But Bischoff was not even scheduled to be in San Antonio as of this morning (Heyman was to be in Dallas but he's at every Raw).
aaahahahahaha.. They weren't even approved to be sent out but yet.. Were sent out anyway.. So much for that 'top notch' micromanaging they got going over there, LMAO!

ANTHEM VS. JARRETT LAWSUIT UPDATE ( This is STILL Going On? Ay Yay.. )

On Monday 6/24 United States District Judge Waverly D. Crenshaw made several rulings in the Jeff Jarrett and Global Wrestling Entertainment’s lawsuit against Impact Wrestling’s parent company Anthem Sports & Entertainment.

Several of the rulings were in Anthem’s favor.  Anthem had been arguing that they did not fall under Tennessee’s jurisdiction, despite three sets of discovery requested by the plaintiffs and having to produce over 12,000 pages of documents.  Judge Waverly agreed with Anthem, ruling with prejudice that Anthem Sports was dismissed from that count of the lawsuit for failure to state a claim or a lack of subject matter jurisdiction.

The Judge also ruled that Jarrett and GWE’s allegations of copyright infringement were also dismissed.   Anthem had argued that since GWE and Jarrett failed to copyright and trademark their GFW Amped! TV tapes and since Jarrett provided a license for Anthem to use the tapes, there could be no trademark infringement.  Anthem argued that by law, Jarrett & GWE should have filed their copyrights or have been refused registration in order to claim copyright infringement in court.  Since neither had happened – as Jarrett does not have physical possession of the GFW master tapes, which Impact has already admitted they deleted – Anthem argued that claim could not go forward in court.  The court sided with Anthem and dismissed that count.

All the remaining allegations against Anthem remain and are moving forward.

Those allegations, as previously reported, include claims that Impact and Anthem violated state and federal trademark infringements in relation to GFE, violated Jeff Jarrett’s exclusive property rights to his own name, photograph, and other likeness, that Anthem has used “a reproduction, counterfeit, copy, or colorable imitation of the GLOBAL FORCE WRESTLING and GFW trademarks” in commerce, therefore they are in violation of the Lanham Act, which prohibits trademark infringement, trademark dilution, and false advertising.  The lawsuit also claimed violation of the Lanham Act through alleged “acts of unfair competition” that were done “with the intent to deceive the public into believing that goods and services offered or sold by Defendants are made by, approved by, sponsored by, or affiliated with GFE.”

The lawsuit also alleges that Anthem has "caused products and/or services to enter interstate commerce designated with variations" of the Global Force Wrestling and GFW trademarks.  The filing claimed, "Defendants’ use of said designation and other representations constitute a false designation of origin which is likely to cause confusion, to cause mistake, and to deceive as to the affiliation, connection, or association of Defendants with GFE and as to the origin, sponsorship, or approval of such goods and services by GFE."  This allegation would be an alleged violation of the Lanham Act.

Yesterday, all sides were ordered to have all written discovery and deposition of all witnesses completed by 12/6.  The court is also requesting that all expert witnesses be identified and disclosed by the same date with the depositions of those expert witnesses completed before 1/13/20.

When WWE's Alleged "Hidden Gem" Is 'Hidden' right On Youtube. (Boom, LMAO!)

I love when WWE thinks they've added something that they 'claim' us a hidden gem, but the reality is, it's not that hidden if it's been on YouTube for THREE FUCKING YEARS, dumb asses.

Here' the latest example. Right from Meltzer's web page (and when he sees this, he'll do what he did the last time I caught him in a mistake, duck, dodge and sidestep it every way he can..

And one check on YouTube? Brings.. THIS!

MMMAAN, that's gotta suck, eh?

And why watch the WWE's edited down Hour and forty six minute version when you can go here and see the entire thing.. Which is over TWO AND A HALF HOURS LONG!! Right here.

You can thank me now..

You're welcome.. :)

I'll Call Bullshit On this. Will Ospreay: "Every Person That Is A Star In WWE Or AEW Came From [NJPW]"

Sorry Will..  but you're full of shit.. Samoa Joe came from TNA and Ring Of Honor.. Nice try though.. John Cena? UUHH nope.. Brock Lesner? Not even close.. R-Truth was Former NWA World Champion and in TNA as well. Want me to continue to prove you wrong?

In the midst of his well-documented Twitter war with WWE Universal Champion Seth Rollins, the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion, Will Ospreay, spoke with Sportsillustrated.com on the matter.
Ospreay seems amused at how the situation played out between he and Rollins.
"The whole thing makes me laugh," said Ospreay. "He put out there, 'Find me anyone alive that does the same schedule that I do and performs at the same quality.' I just said, 'I'm alive.'"
As he recounted the various insults that Rollins threw at him, Ospreay noted that, as of right now, he can't envision himself stepping in the ring to go one-on-one against Rollins.
"Yeah, you're on the road for 300 days a year, sorry I'm not – I'm doing 250. His response was to say, 'Little guy.' I'm the same bloody height as you," Ospreay pointed out. "Then he said he has Ricochet, a better version of me. Why is he involving someone else? Ricochet is the man, and he's one of the best at this style. But why get him involved? This is between me and you. I feel like Rollins has respect for me and I've got respect for Rollins, and I'd love to have a match with him one day, but right now, that's not my vision."
Ospreay emphasized his belief that New Japan is responsible for presenting the greatest pro wrestling available today. He even went as far as to say that anyone who is a star in WWE or AEW learned their craft from training in the New Japan Dojo.
"Our company produces the best pro wrestlers in the world," said Ospreay. "I understand the alternative – if you like WWE, that's fine – you like the stories. If you like All Elite, you want something different. But New Japan Pro Wrestling is the pinnacle of what pro wrestling should be, and the pro wrestling fans should come and watch because this is the best. I'm not saying that on Twitter to Seth Rollins, I'm literally saying that because I truly believe it in my heart of heart.
"Every person that is a star in WWE or All Elite Wrestling came from this company," Ospreay continued. "This is where they got good, this is where they applied their trade to make themselves the stars that they are. No one's leaving anytime soon, we're all sticking together. Now is the time for us to take center stage and show the world that we are the best professional wrestling company in the world. And right now, I feel like I'm untouchable in the ring. I feel like I can get in there with anyone and bring out their best game. I'm more than ready."
Will Ospreay will battle Lance Archer as part of NJPW's G1 CLIMAX 29 tournament. Their bout will air live on AXS TV, July 6th at 9pm EST from the American Airlines Center in Dallas, TX. Be sure to stay with Wrestling Inc for all your NJPW G1 CLIMAX 29 coverage.Shane

CDC recommends that everyone between the ages of 13 and 64 get tested for HIV at least once as part of routine health care. About 1 in 7 people in the United States who have HIV don’t know they have it.
People at higher risk should get tested more often. If you were HIV-negative the last time you were tested, and that test was more than one year ago, and you answer yes to any of the following questions, you should get an HIV test as soon as possible because these things increase your chances of getting the virus:
  • Are you a man who has had sex with another man?
  • Have you had sex—anal or vaginal—with an HIV-positive partner?
  • Have you had more than one sex partner since your last HIV test?
  • Have you injected drugs and shared needles or works (for example, water or cotton) with others?
  • Have you exchanged sex for drugs or money?
  • Have you been diagnosed with or sought treatment for another sexually transmitted disease?
  • Have you been diagnosed with or treated for hepatitis or tuberculosis (TB)?
  • Have you had sex with someone who could answer yes to any of the above questions or someone whose sexual history you don’t know?
You should be tested at least once a year if you keep doing any of these things. Sexually active gay and bisexual men may benefit from more frequent testing (for example, every 3 to 6 months).
If you’re pregnant, talk to your health care provider about getting tested for HIV and other ways to protect you and your child from getting HIV.

Before having sex for the first time with a new partner, you and your partner should talk about your sexual and drug-use history, disclose your HIV status, and consider getting tested for HIV and learning the results.
Persons for Whom HCV Testing Is Recommended
  • Adults born from 1945 through 1965 should be tested once (without prior ascertainment of HCV risk factors)
  • HCV testing is recommended for those who:
    • Currently injecting drugs
    • Ever injected drugs, including those who injected once or a few times many years ago
    • Have certain medical conditions, including persons:
      • who received clotting factor concentrates produced before 1987
      • who were ever on long-term hemodialysis
      • with persistently abnormal alanine aminotransferase levels (ALT)
      • who have HIV infection
    • Were prior recipients of transfusions or organ transplants, including persons who:
      • were notified that they received blood from a donor who later tested positive for HCV infection
      • received a transfusion of blood, blood components, or an organ transplant before July 1992
  • HCV- testing based on a recognized exposure is recommended for:
    • Healthcare, emergency medical, and public safety workers after needle sticks, sharps, or mucosal exposures to HCV-positive blood
    • Children born to HCV-positive women
The health department is reportedly investigating the event, which apparently featured a "Fans Bring the Weapons" match, a thumbtack match, and a "Panes of Glass" match, billed as "live extreme wrestling! 18+ only" on the flyers.
John Glenn, co-promoter of the event, told the Courier Journal that all wrestlers are "tested regularly" for the "safety of the people who come to our shows and for the guys in the ring as well."
"We care about our performers and the people who come to see our performance," Glenn said.
It looks like Sunday's event was the re-debut show for the promotion.

Kevin Owens Invites Fan To WWE SmackDown Who Had An Incident With Bully Ray At An ROH Event

Earlier this month at an ROH event, a fan recounted his story about having some exchanges with members of The Allure (Velvet Sky, Mandy Leon, and Angelina Love) that led to security bringing him backstage to speak with Bully Ray. According to the fan, who goes by "xIAMHOLLYWOODx" on Twitter, things began like this:
"Velvet and I exchange words along with the rest of the Allure," he wrote on Twitter. "Nothing crazy. Mandy Leon spits on me from the side. Not preferable but I honestly don't care. Segment ends. Side note. I love and respect like 99% of all wrestlers. I honest to god never try to make the show ABOUT me, get myself over, etc. My rule of thumb is to boo the bad guys and cheer the good guys. It's rare that I'll flip the script but I always decide to go along with the show."
The Allure came out for another segment and more words were exchanged. This is when security asked him to come to the back where Bully Ray briefly spoke to him. Bully Ray also gave his side of the story. Below is a portion of his statement:
"In retrospect, the 'fan' should have been ejected," Bully Ray wrote on Twitter. "Unfortunately, it wasn't until after 'fan' was asked to not be 'so rude,' did we find out that severity of the vile comments and lewd sexual gestures made towards the women. I think we can all agree that in 2019, this type of behavior towards women is unacceptable and goes far beyond the scope of, 'I paid for my seat, I should be able to do or say whatever I want.' I live by the motto, 'Respectful fans always get what they want. Rude fans always get what they deserve.' At the end of the day, I'm guilty of defending three women that needed a bit of defending. Not by being a bully, by being a man."
Since then, Ring of Honor also released a statement that they would investigate the matter "and assessing internal security protocols to ensure a safe environment for all fans and athletes."
Last night, WWE SmackDown was at the Moda Center in Portland, Oregon, and "xIAMHOLLYWOODx" tweeted out a story about how Kevin Owens reached out to him and invited him to a WWE event.
"I'm going to spill a little secret for you guys. This dude is too humble to toot his own horn so I'm going to do it for him. After the 'incident' a couple weeks ago, I had an outpour of support from friends and strangers alike. Nothing made me more confident knowing that when things go south, you guys have my back and I appreciated that more than anything. One of, if not the, craziest outcome from my infamous backstage incident was a DM from Kevin Owens. Kevin reached out to share his disappointment and frustration about what happened to me and to apologize for an incident that he wasn't even apart of. I was completely taken back and had to look for that blue little check mark because I for sure thought this was a fake account.
"I've never had any interaction with him, but he was reaching out of the kindness of his heart. Thatis the measure of a man. After some back and forth, Kevin threw out an offer to be his guest the next time he was in town. Fast forward to tonight...and low and behold, there was some pretty good tickets set aside for not only me, but for my friends, as well. I had more fun tonight at the show than I have in a very long time. I'm humbled and grateful by the generosity of an absolute stranger. Never stop being there for each other. Never stop taking the high road. Never stop being the better man. Thank you, Kevin Owens."
