Update 11-15-23 11:45 PM

The Globe Theater will remain open after all.

Prestige sent word that they have now been told the venue will instead remain open going forward, and The website for the venue, is back operating after being pulled offline yesterday.

Special Thanks to Stephen Rizzo for letting me know about this.

It has closed immediately with no notice.

The Globe was the site for Prestige Wrestling, PWG and other events.

Here's an LAWeekly story on this. https://www.laweekly.com/globe-theater-closing/

Thank you for not doing what other sites did which was reference PWInsider or WONF4W. One of the reasons I like coming to your site is because your stories don't reference the above said sites. So many other sites have to rely on Dave Meltzer or Mike Johnson or another dirt sheet site for their 'exclusive' news, but you don't. You actually put a newspaper story for the reference here. I enjoy your mixture of older stuff and current, vvery different than what all the others do.

Lady every single post about this is all coming from one wrestling promotions announcement you need to stop with the whole anti referencing

The LA Weekly one may have it but you won't see this site reference Meltzer, Johnson, Scherer for stories. We did when we first started this site but then realized we, don't have to be like all the others who do that, so we stopped. We don't need PWInsider or the other sites to get stories and posts. Too many other 'news' sites have to rely on them, we don't.

Why you so anonymous "Anonymous'? You must be associated with one of those dirt sheets that rely on other sites for your news, that's why so mad? I don't see this site referencing PWInsider or WONF4W in every one of their posts, but i see it on WrestlingInc, No DQ Wrestling, Sportskeeda, you with one of them sites, that why you mad about anti referencing? Why don't ypou learn how to get your own stories like this site does.

Just look on The Observer site today. Ian Carey had to use a story on "Haus Of Wrestling" to do something for the Observer. Ian Carey was caught stealing stories from PWInsider's "elite section which is people pay for that. Then he was caught stealing from this site and this site called him out on it. Now he has to rely on Nick Hausman's site for his 'exclusive' stories. So Sandra's point is right on, a total bullseye that people like Ian and other sites can't get their own stories like this site does. Every day The Observer staff references some other site instead of getting their own stuff. So say what you will about this site, they at least can get their own stories unlike other places.

Yep, and Bryan Rose referenced Fightful Select. What more needs to be said?

Meltzer himself referenced PWInsider in his Daily Update yesterday as well. So it goes back to what's been said. They can't find their own stories like we do, and have to reference other known sites, like we don't do (smiles).
