Booker T Retracts What he Said About WWE Signing Roc-C (AFTER "Certain" Wrestling News Sites Went Wild With It)

PWinsider, WrestlingInc and The Observer all went on an ASSUMPTION of Booker T that Roc-C had signed a WWE deal.

The screen grab above shows he made a mistake but ONLY AFTER all the major news sites and a few others after that I'm sure, jumped on this without doing any research OR confirming with Roc-C herself. 

Here's the examples of how the major news sites jumped on it without even bothering to ask Roc-C herself.

When I saw this story earlier today I messaged both Donnie Henderson and Head Writer/Site creator Bill Walkowitz if we should post this. 

I'm glad I took their advice, because you can see what's happened.

Donnie said and I'll quote him. "You better not, seems fishy that Booker T is claiming it but Roc-C isn't".

Bill said and I'll quote him too. "Why's Booker T speaking about it? Can't Roc-C speak for herself?" He then added a few seconds later, "I bet this is bullshit, and if it does turn out to be bullshit? We'll be the ones who can say how we didn't jump on the bandwagon of hearsay like these other idiots keep doing."

In the end they were right, as Bill said, it was bullshit. And the other news sites fell for it.

This is why more and more, people that have gone to PWInsider, WrestlingInc and Observer, have more and more been coming here to WP&P. We, don't have to jump with a conclusion based on second hand claims that have now, been retracted. We actually try to contact the source and i know all three of us here at WP&P did contact Roc-C, which probably helped spark Booker T to tweet his retraction of sorts. 

Research and common sense would be great friends for the staff at PWInsider, Wrestlinginc and Observer if they would choose to embrace them. 

Obviously they can't or don't want to, choose which one you think it could be.

So thanks PWInsider, WrestlingInc and Observer, your fuck ups like this show why we know better than to jump on crap like this. 

Watching you guys fuck up like this, along with Wade Keller at Pro Wrestling Torch getting busted for making shit up about Brandi Rhodes shows why we've gained a decent reputation. 

We learn, from your fuck ups. 

By all means keep fucking up, that's how you lose viewers and how we gain the viewers you lose.
