On October 8th, 2005, Winnipeg-based wrestling promotion Action Wrestling Entertainment held an event where 6 episodes of the weekly TV show "AWE Overload" were taped. The first match on the first episode was Kenny Omega vs. Ryan Wood. This match occurred just a few weeks before Kenny travelled to Deep South Wrestling to become a part of WWE Developmental. AWE Overload began airing in January 2006 on The Fight Network in Canada and lasted 7 episodes.
